Fidgetting toddlers at meal times

When children get to the 16+ month stage, many start to object to being strapped into a chair at meal times. They want to explore!.

Obviously patience from parents is in order, but if your toddler really doesn’t like to be restrained and fidgets and squirms at meal times, maybe a booster seat is the answer. This will allow your child to join you at the table, without being restricted by straps. Booster seats are a lot easier to transport than a full size high chair, so you can easily take them when you visit friends and relatives.
