Chicco high chair. When I first shopped for a high chair, I assumed there were a few top high chair brands. In fact, there are more and more high chair brands than one which cut the mustard and give the baby a good support and had all the needed items you'd expect. See all of the brands at high chair
Most people are familiar with Graco, Peg Perego, Stokke, Evenflo, Fisher-Price, and Eddie Bauer. These are some of the major high chair brand names in this market...because these names also market a wide variety of other baby and family products like bottles, co-sleepers, and strollers. Combi, Baby Trend, Chicco, Svan, Kolcraft and Zooper also specialize in baby high chairs.
At the low end, you are looking at spending at least $50 for a functional high chair. Having a hand-me-down from friends or family is a free option, and certainly no harm in saving money and going that route. But at that end of the spectrum, you're only going to get a plastic seat that's fairly uncomfortable for baby unless you add padding or blankets. Plus a metal frame and a tray. Adjustments to these types of high chair models will be very limited. But it's certainly adequate for feeding and holding a baby for meals. See the new designs at high chair
